His latest journey into the unexplored waters of subdued and sublime ambient meditations lands via US institute Kranky and truly feels like the most properly focused scope of this side of the Dedekind Cut project to date. You would struggle to think of an artist who has released banging jungle for Ninja Tune, only to suddenly drop the breaks and submerge himself far back into the deepest corners of oceanic NON Worldwide ambient and the darkest recesses of Prurient's noise altar Hospital Productions, yet Dedekind Cut has just done this with a style and grace that sees each record increase in a wave of panoramic and pensive mist, contoured with choral melody, field recordings, and radiant drone.

Dedekind Cut characterizes Tahoe as a “time peace,” sifting through “the past, the present, future, and fantasy.” Recorded primarily in New York, with additional sessions sourced from Berlin, Cambridge, and Placer County, California.
