Steve Spacek continues to push his iPad to the limit to create the sort of richly-textured dance music that a lot of producers would need a whole studio to come up with. EP3: Mov Clsr sees Spacek combing through his hard-drive once again to bring these four cuts into the world. Footwork, garage, juke, house and more are invoked here, though always with the unique blend of smoothness and grit that makes Spacek such an enduring and unique voice in the clubsphere. The Natalie Shade-featuring title track contrasts silky vocals with distorted kick drums in a manner that recalls Spacek’s work in Africa Hitech, while ‘Nano Night’s sounds like a long-lost collab between Oval and DJ Spinn.
