Kenneth James Gibson’s fourth LP under his given name - and his umpteenth in a career that has seen him go by dubLoner, Eight Frozen Modules, Premature Wig and many other monikers - drops via Kompakt. Anyone who enjoyed the dreamy vistas of his last LP for the Hamburg label, or indeed his appearance on their recent Pop Ambient 2018 compilation, will find plenty more to get lost in on In The Fields Of Nothing. Gibson once again brings together bleeping modulars, piano, glacial strings and a general air of horizon-wide majesty for another album that will appeal to fans of Icelandic ambient music or contemporary classicism of labels like Village Green.
