The brothers D’Arcangelo drop a friendly four-track via Happy Skull. While the Roman techno veterans have always had a playfulness to their sound, rarely has their brand of Braindance sounded more inviting than on this self-titled EP. ‘Saba Tree’ and ‘AC - SF13 - 2 Cid - 13th Cider’ are particularly good fun, bouncing along on clean electro grooves while some music-box synths chime away in the background. ‘Pull Seven’ is a little more discordant but no less enjoyable - think DMX Krew collabing with Mount Kimbie. Speaking of Mount Kimbie, closer ‘Korty’ deviates from the pattern set by the preceding three tracks, offering up a warm post-dubstep number in the same vein as the London duo’s Crooks & Lovers.
