Insane low budget horror flick soundtrack here from Francesco De Masi scoring ‘Escape from the Bronx’ by director Enzo G. Castellari. Released as part of a Mad Max inspired trilogy the film is every bit as comical and gory as you’d come to expect from anything on Death Waltz. They somehow have an unlimited resource for this exact kind of thing! Musically it’s classic library style with moody strings and orchestral jazz-funk pieces blending in with graceful downtempo. Proper Italian film score business in the vein of the very best.
