Connoisseur of impossibly rare European avant-garde records and oddball disco enthusiast Basso drops the thirteenth release on his Growing Bin label. Dedicated to releasing quality new music as well as reissuing personal favourites, the music of Wolf Muller/Jan Schulte fits right at home on GB. In fact it basically ticks all the boxes. Woozy ambient and tribal percussion central here with nods to the more primitive side of early krautrock and heavy on the Tropical Drums vibe that Schulte’s wonderful compilation managed to exude. Twelve tracks spread across two LP’s and one of the sickest covers we’ve seen so far this year!
