Invisible City label/shop owner Gary Abugan delves deep into studio session legend Tommy Mandel’s personal archives for this amazing comp. Think dreamy 80s new age, private boogie a la TJ Hustler and pop works from Arthur Russell/Holger Czukay etc and you’re on the right track. These recordings are culled from 1980 through to 1987 and were all recorded in New York City at Mandel’s crazy studio.
