Levon Vincent’s For Paris was ushered into the world as a free download towards the end of 2017. It was Vincent’s olive branch to the world - a plea for peace, and a way of making amends for his unseemly comments in the wake of the 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris. Now, with NS-18, the first track from that LP has made it to wax. ‘Baseball’ is as minimal as they come, ghosting along on a tick-tock drum groove and a single undulating minor chord. The B-side sees Vincent come through with ‘War Drum Dub’, a new offering in which Vincent pushes his drum machine to the max.
