CPU are on a tear in 2018 … actually, they’re always on a tear. The hardest-working label in showbusiness (or the British clubsphere at least) drop yet another killer collection of acid workouts. Secret State are pretty cool on the info - unsurprising, given their name - but they really let the music do the talking on Zero Zero One. Built from the sturdy raw materials of a TR-808 and a Juno-60, the four weighty club cuts here will do damage in many a dance. Highlights are the raw electro of ‘CIA UFO Google Search’ and the nimble, juke-influenced ‘De-Pattern’, but really the whole thing is worth your time.
