Germany-based Brit J.Wiltshire walks a tightrope of electronic genres, and Laghan Pux EP sees the DJ and producer flex the skills and knowhow to craft a unique dancefloor presence. ‘DESklep (photomix)’ kicks things off in Cornish acid style, while things get a sight creepier on the crepuscular techno of ‘Chained Release’ and the EP’s title track (later remixed into a joyous 303-fest by perennial enigma Roy of the Ravers). ‘Summon Them’ brings a stellar release to an ethereal close with luscious ambient textures.
