Wow! One of the most unexpected collaborations of the year here as Athens stalwart Jay Glass Dubs teams up with avant-garde pop heroine Leslie Winer. Yep, the same one behind that amazing ‘Witch’ LP. Ice cold, reverb heavy drum tracks with Winer’s unique, world-weary vocal delivery dripping in studio FX and sounding as tough as ever. Forget the pretty atmospheres of her 1990 album and project it far, far into the future where everything is controlled by machines and we all live until we’re two hundred. No clue how this one came about but we’re glad for it.
