Four new pounding club tracks from Bristol’s own Hodge, released via Gizmo over at the Berceuse Heroique stable. Hodge has seriously refined his sound over the past six or seven years, his early house and techno tracks for Immerse and Deadplate now seeming like telling precursors for a style that manages to fit dingy basements as much as it does big room warehouse clubs. Check the epic ‘There Is A Storm Coming In’, a brooding and fierce cut that builds and builds the tension whilst being propelled by irregular, reverb soaked claps. Top gear from BH again.
