German/Greek imprint Nous (Karen Gwyer, Juniper) have previous when it comes to releasing hot compilations from relatively unknown producers. 2016’s #3 Black and White releases were full of newly-unearthed gems that ran the gauntlet of from Bristolian soundystem techno to central European Detroit derivations. The trend continues on the label’s latest various artists release Anonymous Delusional Eros. Many of the cuts here are jams that wouldn’t sound out of place on Hessle or Timedance. ‘Univers Univers’, for instance, comes from Gaunt - a producer who has already dropped on Beneath’s Mistry imprint. Offerings from Ayln and D104 are similarly weighty rollers, while the likes of ‘What We Become’ by Dreams have a flavour that befits Nous’s current Berlin home.
