The good folks at Analog Africa praise him as one of Cameroon’s forgotten geniuses, a man who made but a dent in the wider world of French press exports with just three near-invisible 7” singles to his name. Released in the mid 70s these singles show a man with unbelievable musicianship, arranging killer drums with tough horns and almost psychedelic sounding guitar lines. Top notch electronic Gandjal tracks that will appeal to fans of Hafusa Abbasi et al. One of our picks of the week for sure.
