Following on from that amazing Al Massrieen compilation that seemed to easily move between Nino Nardini esque exotica with heavily Eastern leaning disco and boogie, the Habibi Funk crew present their first proper various artists compilation. Sweet, late night dance songs such as ‘Rouhi Ya Hafida’ are juxtaposed with the hazy lo-fi soul of ‘Al Asafir’ to ensure all musical bases are covered. What a treat.
