More new material from Astral Industries, a label that have been on a bit of a roll with the ambient and minimal electronic gear this year. Red Lantern at the Kallikatsou combines age old cassette rips with modern day YouTube samples chopped up on Audacity like it was a vintage tape recorder. The result is pretty invigorating; super long and drawn out remix versions of ‘Lanterns’. We caught The Chi Factory perform in London in the summer and can fully attest to the quality of their music.
