The eighth release in the Amsterdam institution’s tenth birthday series brings four more top-shelf rollers. The two A-sides are both classic Dekmantel fare in different ways. While Peter Van Hoesen & Donato Dozzy favour impressionistic, little-fluffy-clouds-style techno haze on ‘Storta’, Deniro’s ‘Serval’ is a highly melodic head-nodder. The B-side leans more heavily on the acid than one might expect for a Dekmantel release. The ever-faithful Matrixxman provides a haunting acid dub on ‘Sexual Frustration’, and Talismann’s ‘Aciano’ is a high-NRG closer.
