A new drop on Hotline Recordings is always a cause for celebration. Longtime friends of the label Sam ‘Neek’ Barrett & Amos ‘Jabu & Zhou’ Childs have provided the production for this one under their O$VMV$M project. Their riddim is a sweet dancehall lullaby, with chords softly slipping in and out of the dem-bow. Atop this, Rider Shafique comes through with a pillow-talk croon about sleeping lions. The B-side version sees the pair obscure the original in a haze of smoke.
