Goat return with a cosmic fusion of psych, disco and krautrock for the follow-up to their eclectic debut, World Music. Commune builds on their signature sound by further exploring African influenced rock riffs and rhythms and taking inspiration from the lost history of B-musics released through labels like Finders Keepers. This is also a far more spiritual record as evidenced by the themes of ‘The Light Within’ and ‘Talk To God’. But equally, they continue to offer a trippy take on rock conventions, as on the noise heavy guitar solo of ‘Hide From The Sun’.
