Four smooth dub techno cuts from New York native Brendon Moeller. Having found allies in Kimochi, Mule Musiq and Delsin, Moellers deep but heavy sound recalls the best moments of Levon Vincent or the Echospace mix of Model 500. The influence of dubwise Jamaican production techniques adds subtle but intricate layers of sound design to the steady kick drums and clattering percussion on tracks like ‘Caravan’. ‘Magic City’ is the heaviest track on the record and the EP closer ‘Departure’ is a murky affair with trippy vocals and DJ Qu style percussion work.
