Parisian don Simo Cell returns to Peverelist’s Livity Sound with another robust bass-techno four-track. The two mixes of ‘Stop The Killing’ are likely to do the most damage in le club. While the ‘Intello’ mix chimes and whirrs in a manner that recalls some of the tracks on KiNK’s Under Destruction, the original’s murky locked groove will prove a highlight of any mix. ‘How Do U Turn This On’ is an initially shy dub that is coaxed out of its shell by a throbbing dubstep-inspired bassline, and ‘Feel Di Kouala Vybz’ sees Simo Cell doing his own version of drum & bass.
