If you liked the Tsege Mariam Gebru on Mississippi then do not hesitate to pick this one up. Sublime recordings of early fusion music at its best and most hypnotically minimal. Skandrani invites you on a deep listening trip that seems to cross continents and avoid any kind of easy categorisation. Even with the longest composition coming in at three minutes, this stuff manages to leave a profound effect. This one flew out when EM first put it out so act fast if this is your kind of thing.
