Omar S affiliate and FXHE artist drops his first 12” outside of the label for none other than Chilly Blankhead’s The Trilogy Tapes. Two no nonsense dance tracks cut loud for maximum impact. ‘Ricochet’ is the perfect mid-set tempo changer, tough drums and deep synth work combining to build up the tension. ‘And Then Leave’ harks back to proper 90s rave gear by deploying yet more tension building energy (albeit a lot more fun). Good use of vocal samples in this one too. Not much more to say really, just buy it and beat it in the club.
