Newish Glasgow label Full Dose look set to turn heads with this new two-track from Scottish producer Lucchesi. Both dubs here string their tunes out from vocal samples in a manner that recalls Kahn & Neek’s ‘Backchat’. That said, the sounds Lucchesi goes for are less rooted in dancehall and techno. They have more in common with jungle, IDM and Kevin Martin’s heavyweight sound. ‘Burro’ is built from a particularly haunting loop.
