Though they only have a couple of tracks together, The Bug and Flowdan can claim to be one of the most influential duos in the dancehall this side of 2010. In particular, their titanic ‘Skeng’ still reverberates in the sound of everyone from Death Grips to Kanye West to Sir Spyro and continues to wipe the floor with the competition in many a soundclash. ‘Bad’ channels ‘Skeng’ as well as the duo’s 2013 collabs ‘Louder’ and ‘Dirty’, with Flowdan’s bars snaking menacingly around Kevin Martin’s system-blowing beat. Killa P was the other featured party on ‘Skeng’, and he contributes another standout flow to moody B-side ‘Get Out The Way’. The EP is fleshed out by instrumentals of both tunes.
