Known to many as B12, here we see Steven Rutter stepping out from the shadows and dropping an EP for FireScope Records under his given name. But fear not - those of you who have enjoyed the B12 EPs previously released by FireScope will still find plenty to love here. Not so much a full-scale reinvention as a reshuffling of his own pack, From Me To You finds Rutter breathing new warmth into his well-worn space-techno sound. Tracks like ‘Down and Down’ and ‘The Life Giver’ are full of alien pads and skittish 808s, while closer ‘The Battle Continues’ is an ambitious bit of post-junglism. Will appeal to those who have enjoyed recent drops by Central Processing Unit.
