Lindsay Todd drops this new Modula 10” on his esteemed Firecracker imprint. Also known as House of Traps, the Edinburgh based artist is responsible for a string of labels of which Firecracker is the most prominent. Modula is the new alias of Periodica family man Filippo Romano and takes cue from the sleazy, 80s g-funk inspired jams the likes of Dam Funk do so well. Taking that template and adding MPC house jams in the mix, Romano gives us five tracks that are sure fire winners for the club. Our favourite is the A2, real deal leftfield boogie!
