The little known genius of Denver maverick Geoffrey Landers is explored in full depth on this retrospective double pack. Running his own studio and engineering for plenty of local DIY wave bands, Landers was a figurehead of the capital’s mid 80s indie scene. Leaving music behind to focus on glasswork and family life, a string of self-released CD’s circulated in miniscule numbers after his LP’s sadly avoided commercial success. Tako Reyenga and co have collated a wide range of styles and genres across these four sides of vinyl and in doing so have created a wonderful portal into this shadowy figures unique musical world.
