Insane percussion cuts straight out of Deutschland for Will Bankhead’s TTT imprint. Every time a new Trilogy Tapes 12” lands it’s good news, that goes without saying, but seeing HT’s name got us even more excited than usual. Three dense, tribal long form drum workouts that meet somewhere in the middle of Zazou Bikaye/Africa Djole/Blurt. The brooding club vibe makes ‘Low Beat’ our immediate favourite, but even whilst writing this the freaky jazz groove of ‘Whirling’ is growing on us more and more. Can this guy make a bad record?
