Lower Parts (Keita Sano, DJ Stingray 313) present the latest weirdo-techno selection by Detroit head Terrence Dixon. No More Time picks up in the same vein of his June drop Like A Thief In The Night, with grooves hovering at the edge of the dancefloor. Nowhere is this more apparent than on opener ‘A1’ (no track titles here), a number which sees a simple four-to-the-floor wed to a billowing ambience that sounds like steam escaping from a pipe. ‘A2’ is similarly atonal, while the final track of the A-side incorporates a sort of mutant Georgio Moroder-type lead line. Things get a little more melodic on the two B-side dubs, with ‘B1’ grown out of a nice dubby bassline and ‘B2’ based around a nice chiming keyboard loop.
