Mote Evolver (Marcel Fengler, Kamikaze Space Programme) drop the fourth installment of Planetary Assault System’s Deep Heet series. In keeping with the theme of the other volumes, the one born Luke Slater uses this release to go as deep as possible into his rhythms. As such, the four tracks here are all about dead-eyed intent, primed to be dropped at any point of the set. The opener and closer go about their business by honing in on a nugget of groove and rinsing the hell out of it, while ‘Life Rhythm’ and ‘Random Kingdom’ are two pieces of dervish-techno to fatten up the ep.
