Black Truffle follow on from their stellar Alvin Curran and Annea Lockwood reissues with these new recordings from legendary noise artist Oren Ambarchi. Made up of two 10+ min recordings and one little intro cut, Stacte Karaoke II follows on from its first venture in much the same vein. Guitar led, riff heavy rock outs for all you 80s hair metal fans. It’s a stark departure from his ambient leaning works but one which somehow also feels lacking in humour. Either way, it’s a must check if you’re partial to a bit of heavy metal. Just be aware how long the riffs go on for!
