Bleep

An LP that explores the full gamut of sample-based groove-music here. The first half of De La Planet begins with a quick bit of scene-setting before throwing out a few tight and vaguely experimental disco-house tracks that take cues from Arthur Russell and the Smallville Records set. Turning our attention to the LP’s backend, we get some slower, sexier shuffles ala Jan Jelinek. These give off the vibe that The Mole was attempting somnambulant dubs of the first half-dozen cuts.
