Formerly of the I Love Acid, Seed and Balkan Vinyl stables, Posthuman drops a tight three-track here on Dixon Avenue Basement Jams. The two Josh Caffe collaborations are the sort of sexy, soulful acid-jacks that never goes out of fashion. ‘Preach’ is a particularly juicy cut, with Caffe doing his best Cheryl Lynn impression on the vocal. Closer ‘Exit Drums’ does what it says on the tin, with whirring synths set against a ping-pong house groove.
