The Death of Rave drop this debut LP of avant-garde electronics from the mysterious Teresa Winter. Collecting a wide range of tracks that are equally as hard to tie down to one particular influence as they are to interpret any meaning behind, Untitled Death manages to pull the listener in from the opening cut ‘Oh’. Occupying the space between Coil, Ksiezyc and Grouper, our interpretation of the record still leaves us feeling like the artist themselves may be blissfully unaware of the aforementioned. Reverb drenched solo vocals, drifting synth drones, faux-Gregorian chants and eerie background noise aplenty.
