Danish noise label Posh Isolation have been doing their thing for a while now, and co-founder Christian Stadsgaard has been publishing cassette tapes under the name Vanity Productions for a while too. Only The Grains Of Love Remain is his first LP, and although only made up of four compositions, it’s a 30 odd minute journey through dark ambient/industrial noise/cinematic concrete. This isn’t pompous or inaccessible though, Stadsgaard makes sure to retain and element of playfulness throughout the whole thing. Think the less tribal parts of Deutsch Nepal or Cold Meat Industry.
