All City Dublin are on a fine run in 2017. Having already dropped excellent releases from New Jackson and Folamour, they now present the latest in Anno Stamm’s ‘Fragments’ series. Like the first entry, Fragments B contains three cuts of hazy house all characterised by their distorted, sea-sick melodies. ‘La Viande’ is built on a woozy falling lead-line that cascades over a stiff-necked kick-and-bass pattern; ‘Do Yoused To Go’ sounds like some long-lost Detroit classic that’s been put through a washing machine; and closer ‘Pyramid Peach’ is a spare, curious thing that sees a muted drum pattern playing off a writing, unpredictable keyboard.
