Here we have another one of those very pretty releases that Erased Tapes have become so good at in the decade since their inception. Made up of Bloodgroup mastermind Janus Rasmussen and ambient superstar Olafur Arnalds, Kiasmos is the space in which the pair make twinkling electronica not dissimilar to some of Bonobo’s work. As such, it’s no surprise to see the latter turn up for remix duties here, transforming the Sigur-Ros-do-club-music jam ‘Blurred’ into a lights-low shuffler akin to mid-period Four Tet. The other three numbers all follow the title track’s lead - twinkling keys, keening strings and a general air of post-rockish majesty are set to a backdrop of pattering house beats.
