Top shelf Indonesian cosmic music from the Tarawangsa tradition on Morphine. Rabih Beaini’s imprint has been a firm favourite here at Bleep for a while so a new release is always exciting, nevermind something with this good a backstory. Invited by Beaini to perform across European venues after an on-going collaboration, the Tarawangsawelas project present these six compositions from the forty two they’ve already recorded. We’ll avoid using clichés like ‘transcendental’ but give these a listen for yourself and get in the zone! We’re already waiting for more.
