When something comes in that cites Gurdjieff, Tarkovsky and Sumerian art as influences our ears are wide open. This second LP from David-Guillou is full of rich, textural modern compositions that flirt with classical piano and string arrangements yet very much follow on from the avant-garde ideas of Alvin Curran (another press release reference!). Cinematic and pensive, this is one to keep you company during the coming winter nights.
