Though based in Melbourne, Andy Donnelly has been associated with a string of UK labels over the past five or six years. Slowly developing his production style and experimenting with sample heavy post-dubstep, UK garage, house, techno and ambient forms, Donnelly presents this full length album under new alias Colours of Infinity. After assisting on the spectacular Rings Around Saturn tape back in 2015, we find Donnelly channelling a slightly more introspective vibe with these new tracks. Going back to basics with cheap hardware, he pays homage to the live element of 70s kosmiche but looks forward at the same time. Worth a look if you liked that new Legowelt.
