Black Truffle follow on from their reissue of Annea Lockwood’s fantastic ‘Tiger Balm’ with this collaboration of long form pieces from Cole and Ambarchi. Organ drones and soft guitar work are the order of the day, developing and drifting throughout the 15 minute compositions. Francis Debacle contributes processed vocal layers and field recordings to bring another level of eeriness to the whole thing. Recommended if you dig David Behrman’s work on Lovely Music or the more adventurous side of new age electronics, this is one we’ll definitely be spinning more than a couple of times.
