The emergence of the mysterious E Myers has been one of the more intriguing developments in British dance music over the last couple of years. This record is the fourth white label from Myers since 2015, and while the producer’s whereabouts and back story remain elusive, the calibre of their music is what keeps people coming back. ‘Taps’ is a roller that would do well on any dancefloor and in any era, such is the timeless charm of its thrusting 808s and Italo-flecked synth work. ‘Rabona’ maintains a similarly old-skool flavour, though one more rooted in Paradise Garage and The Warehouse.
