Wolf Eyes freshly founded Lower Floor imprint returns with the techno-fried abstractions of Strange Days II, the spiritual follow up to an impossible to find CDR of the same name. Part II finds the squad building on the drone out/zone out madness of Undertow with two extended sessions of crawling noise abstraction and stretched out otherworldly electronics.

Moving in the same sphere as Nate Young's Regression series, the catchily titled '011817' builds with an apocalyptic dub heavy reckoning, that for our money sounds like the psychoactive jazz played on the slowed down stereo during Chris Morris's Cake episode of Brass Eye. This is perfectly complimented by '011317', continuing the blend of new age flute echoes with the grinding wall of noise sub-sonics on which the group were first formed. Tension and release is endlessly built between Nate's inzane synthesis, John Olsen's shaker 'n' sax submission and "Crazy" Jim Baljo's spiralling guitar notes. Both tracks act as a true testament to the driving power of Wolf Eyes in their present form.
