Dead-Cert is the smaller sister label to Finders Keepers, operated by Sean Canty, Doug Shipton and Andy Votel. Make no mistake though; the music they dig up and re-release to the general public through this offshoot imprint is of just as high a quality. Following on from their Mecanica Popular proto-techno adventures, the trio deliver this fantastic Bruce Ditmas retrospective. Made up of pieces totalling just under three decades, industrial soundscapes cross paths with skewed field recordings and razor sharp percussion work over the course of six choice cuts. This package comes thoroughly recommended for fans of avant-jazz, NYC downtown and experimental library music.
