Trees & Cyborgs boss Robot Koch follows up a string of releases on Monkeytown and Project Mooncircle with his first for Diynamic (Stimming, David August). The three tracks here are the sort of stirring, moody tech-house that will do well on dancefloors the world over for their astute grasp of melody and high production value. The two Chi Thanh collaborations are the more bracing offerings om Fluid. Thanh’s remix of ‘Reach’ is a widescreen roller in the vein of Dark Sky, and when the producers pair up for ‘Nebula’ the effect is akin to Moderat. The title track sees Koch polishing piano samples from Julien Marchal for a more subdued cut that brings to mind Monkey Safari.
