It's quite hard to believe that faultless label Perlon, run by Zip, Markus Nikolai and Chris Rehberger, turns 20 this year. Its compilation series, appropriately named SuPERLONgevity, reaches its own landmark birthday this year too, 18, and to celebrate the trio are releasing a mammoth 18-track issue covering eight sides of vinyl. Flipping from analeptic house grooves to precise glitches and polished kicks, it's a playful and addictive journey through the remarkable variety but distinctive oddball minimalism of Perlon's black book.
