Outdives EP
Analogical Force
Catalogue Number
Release Date
July 7, 2017

Analogical Force, the most crucial label operating within the Braindance sphere today collects up what amount to its greatest record yet, having been favourited by none other than AFX, the mysterious Brainwaltzera debuts with a seriously good six-tracker of leftfield electronics and dynamic gabba, acid and tough drill & bass, following up the long sold out Aescoba EP, the imprint have warned that there will be no repress on this one, be quick... !

Perhaps as a homage to the Aphex Twin style of track naming, Outdives EP's six track titles give nothing away to what lies in, yet give a clear indication for those in the know of what lies ahead. Ten Ton Fenix (Unchosen) brilliantly updates the ambient interludes of the Analord series with a slow, mournful opener before some of the deepest analoggins acid lines this side of your Universal Indicator wax kicks into step.

Rearrnged (Vntr 3rd CAT & 7 Melting Pot) follows with more of a SAW85-92 roll, the synth sounds literally falling overhead like vast sheets of neon bright light. Before FX Mod DAISY CHAIN 5o (Ext 4perv) and Aegis Outdive (SF) takes on Brainwaltzera's evident love of DNB rhythms by pulling in some of the greatest Drill 'n' B since Lunatic Harness. Closing things down, Bnked Gutt (Unearthed Outdive) and OSwaldtrace tease with some high-end acid before the needle hits the end of the last groove.

This is the real deal, all imitators of the Braindance sound will fall back in comparison when propped up next to Brainwaltzera. A timeless reminder of why we love this sound so much, wholeheartedly recommended!
