Following Australian sound artist Tarquin Manek’s 2015 LP for the label, Blackest Ever Black present Tarquin Manek and Martina Quake's contemporary consumer electronics dazzler Locks On Our Doors Not On Our Hearts.

Truly an altogether eerie work. Quake’s drifting tale-telling is rendered all the more distant by heavy electronic treatment that makes her sound robotic. Adjacent to this, Manek weaves a spacious tapestry from found sound, Rhodes organ and whirring gizmos.
