Interesting collection of remixes from Parisian based record shop turned label DDD. Taking their source material from the 1984 soundtrack to the classic ‘The Man With A Movie Camera’, Jorge Velez, Thurston Moore, Tuff Sherm and Eltron John contribute to this fascinating project. Velez kicks off the EP with the lush ambience of ‘Coquillage’, whilst Tuff Sherm gets things going with a steady beat driven piece, moving around 110 bpm and complimented by his infectious percussion work. Taking it up to house tempo on the B1 is Polish producer EJ, while the biggest name (Moore, in case you were wondering) follows on with what might be the biggest track on the record. Heavy loops, uncompromising noise and intensifying concrete motifs aplenty!
